“Sunsets” is van Schalkwyk‘s first solo show with David Krut Projects, which opened on Saturday 17 September 2016 at David Krut Projects Cape Town at the Montebello Design Centre, Newlands.
The event proved to be a lovely mix of artists, art lovers, designers, writers and filmmakers in attendance.
From the 9 – 11 September 2016 David Krut Projects presented a unique painting booth that included abstract paintings by van Schalkwyk. These works were shown in combination with paintings by Quinten Williams and a unique, direct perspective ink drawing onto the walls of the booth by Lorenzo Nassimbeni.
