Nina Torr has been working on a series of new etchings. The copper plates were etched with elegantly detailed hardground etched lines. Each print is then individually hand painted with a range of varied colours and marks.
This fun way of approaching a traditional technique has allowed Torr to experiment with each individual image coming up with multiple, although similar, different solutions.
The three editions are in progress and are titled Admirer, Burden Dog and Agnostic Dog. Framed and available work are available to view at 142Archive jan Smut Ave, Parkwood, Johannesburg.
