We are thrilled to be a part of the new Latitudes Online Platform as David Krut Projects (Gallery) and as David Krut Workshop (Studio). June 2020 saw the launch of this exciting new platform where Master Printer Jillian Ross has chosen a carefully curated selection of artworks published by the David Krut Workshop or affiliated with the David Krut Gallery.
Latitudes is an all year round online destination to explore and buy contemporary art from Africa. With a constantly changing, curated selection of art from the continent and the diaspora, it brings together artworks presented by galleries, curators, studios, not-for-profits and independent artists themselves.

Our Master Printer Jillian Ross has also worked closely with Latitudes to launch an educational program, to explore the medium of printmaking through the practice of selected artists. The first program was done in collaboration with artist Pebofatso Mokoena and his 2020 body of work – Internal Probes.
Latitudes Online saw the launch of new editions by Maja Maljević – Pokret, 2020 and Wiggly Squiggly, 2020. Unique works from Maljević’s recent print series (Document for the People.and Winter Files) were reviewed in early 2020 with the intent of creating editioned variations of such. The printers at David Krut Workshop (DKW) dissected and then reconstructed elements of the unique works selected. The collaboration and editioning process evolved and these new editions were created with the artist in a time of COVID, fortunately to be released on the freshest online platform for contemporary art – LATITUDES Online.
