We are excited to announce our collaboration with Wingate Studio from Hinsdale, NH, known for its expertise in multi-color, multi-plate intaglio printing. In an upcoming exhibition, we will present a selection of prints produced by Wingate Studio alongside works from the David Krut Workshop, Johannesburg. This juxtaposition will showcase the contemporary and intricate color printing techniques of Wingate Studio alongside the more traditional black and white works from our workshop.
As part of the show’s programming, Leo Zhao, a Master Printer from Wingate Studio, will conduct a printing demonstration. He will delve into the intricacies of multi-plate printing, providing audiences with a deeper appreciation for the art of printmaking.
