Olifantsriviere (State 5: I of I), 2010
This series relates to drawings that were created by the artist in Jan 2010 to be used on wine labels for six new South African wines. The project was a collaboration between William Kentridge and South African winemaker Eben Sabie. The vineyards chosen for the wines are 50 – 100 + years old and are found in the Skurfberg and the Olifants River region.
