Earth Fragment

This print is a section of a larger plate, which is yet to be resolved. During the creation of the plate Fourie and the printers felt that smaller sections of the plate were more successful than the plate as a whole. Therefore, a decision was made to print only a section onto a piece of Gampi chine, which is then adhered to a backing paper. The larger plate will be further worked and resolved before further editioning.
