Still life
Still Life by William Kentridge is closely connected to the artist’s renowned short films of charcoal drawings. Though this drawing depicts fruit in a moment in time, the charcoal lines, which move freely around the artwork, bring to it a sense of movement. The fine lines of the drawing also call attention to Kentridge’s artistic process and the time dedicated to the work’s creation. –
