POSTCARDS FROM THE ROAD – Derelict Colonial Villa (ed. of 10)

The Portuguese colonials fled Mozambique in 1975, bricking up their hearts to the liberated nation and blocking out the pain of separation from their beloved country. Frelimo offered a brave, new, Marxist future, but it was mired in the stupidities of social engineering and blighted by the darkness of civil war.
